| INDIRECT PERCUSSION ISHI STICKS |
| These new tools are designed for use primarily as an indirect percussion tool. The copper rod is placed on the platform and the stick is then struck with a billet to remove the flake. Many knappers are beginning to experiment with this method. The sticks themselves are 18 inches long and 7/8 inches in diameter. They are constructed on high quality black Delrin for many years of use. I offer copper tips in 1/4", 5/16",and 3/8" diameters. Each is 5 inches long and replacements tips are always available. |
