| My standard pressure flakers are constructed from a 6 inch section of 7/8 " diameter black Delrin. The Pressure Flaker Lite is 6" long and like it's companion the Ishi Lite, is constructed of 5/8" Delrin. The Detail Pressure Flaker is 5" long and is also constructed of 5/8" Delrin. They are machined on a lathe to accept the most popular sizes of copper nails. They each include a nail (Detail Flaker includes 2 extra nails), and the nail is held in place by two setscrews. Refill nails are available. |
