| After custom making many similar flakers, I've decided to offer this pressure flaker as a stock item. It features a full one inch diameter Delrin handle that is 6 1/2 inches long. This model is center drilled completely through the handle to accept ANY length of quarter inch rod, and sports 4 setscrews placed at 90 degree increments to eliminate movement and greatly reduce the likelihood of stripping. Also standard on this model is a 6 inch long 1/4 inch diameter solid copper rod. This rod will last a very long time before a replacement is necessary. Simply put, this is a beast of a pressure flaker that will hold up to the heaviest work and will last indefinitely. It is also ideal for those flintknappers with very large hands whose current pressure flakers are too small in their hands to "feel" right. |
